The Private Equity / Venture Capital Club


As one of the largest career clubs at Kenan-Flagler, the MBA Private Equity / Venture Capital Club strives to educate its members on the fundamentals of principal investing, to provide exposure to a vast array of lifecycle investment careers, and to connect its members with the vital network of alumni needed to succeed in this investment field. Key student run club activities include:
  1. Alternative Investments Conference
  2. Carolina Venture Fellows Program (7th annual)  -  12-month internship in VC, PE, Mezzanine Debt, or FOFs
  3. Venture Capital Investment Competition (12th annual)  -  sponsored by The Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute
Club Objectives
  • Provide members with specific tools to attain high potential, long term careers in PE/ VC
  • Increase awareness of career/ investment opportunities within the U.S. and abroad
  • Integrate students with UNC Kenan-Flagler private equity and venture capital alumni professionals
